Good Afternoon,
It is Friday again! Hopefully you have had a good week and you are adapting to the wetter weather over the last few days. We will be continuing to ring you next week so if we haven’t managed to speak to you yet, we will speak to you next week. Remember this will be displayed as a private or withheld number. It has been great for the staff to speak to you. In our remote staff meeting yesterday, we were just saying how it has lifted us!
Our school diary will continue as planned so there will be no work uploaded on Thursday 7th May 2020 or Friday 8th May 2020 as Thursday is a School Development Day and Friday is a Public Holiday. However, the children could use this time to have a go at some of the interesting challenges Mrs Craig has shared in the Eco Folder in the Home Learning Section of our website. We are also aiming to upload a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) Folder next week too with some activities you could try out at home. If you would rather use this time and catch up on bits and pieces you may have missed, please do so or feel free to take a long weekend break from school work!
P.6 parents, in the Parent Newsletter Section you will find a copy of an email we were sent with information regarding further online resources for AQE preparation. If you think this would be useful for you, please feel free to look into it further. However, as a school we have not used or explored these resources ourselves. There is the offer on the email to view resources before purchase. This will allow you to see if you think it is a useful tool for your child.
In the Home Learning Section, the folders of work should remain for as long as you need to access them. However, if you find there is one that is not available when you go to use it please let your class teacher or Mrs Wells (ywells497@c2kni.net) know and will endeavour to retrieve it for you.
