Road Safety Visit
15th Nov 2022
Today, we had a very informative and enjoyable visit from Gareth, part of the road safety team at the Department of Infrastructure. He took time to visit Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to tell us important messages about -
- Crossing the road safely. Holding hands is very important.
- Remembering to "Stop, Look and Listen" as we cross the road.
- 5 safe places to play away from traffic - school playground, indoors at home, in the garden, at the beach and at the park.
- Always be seen by wearing bright, reflective clothing.
- Always wear our seat belts. Remember to click as you sit.
- Safe cycling - always wear a helmet
- Travelling safely on the bus
- Being safe when walking on country roads
Did you spot any of his helpful friends in the photos? Sally, Simon and Joe came to visit too.
